About WFD 2003

Every four years, the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) holds its World Congress.

This is a prestigious gathering of Deaf and hearing people from around the world, coming together to present papers and share developments in areas of interest to Deaf people.

The Commissions for the XIV World Congress are as follows:

•  Commission on Education
•  Commission on Language and Culture
•  Commission on Human Rights
•  Commission on Community Relations
•  Commission on Technology
•  Commission on Developing Countries
•  Commission on Health

There will also be Special Interest Groups.
